Luke and B BIOGRAPHY

Luke and B got their start in September of 2004 at a Thursday night open mic night Giddings, Texas. "Luke and B" started out as Luke Adair and Byron "B" Kalbas leading the jam band for the event every Thursday. The night soon became less of an open mic and known merely as "The Luke and B Experience". The duo concentrated on playing the music they loved to hear themselves from the up and coming Texas Country Music scene. Songs from Charlie Robison, Randy Rodgers, Pat Green, Cory Morrow, Jack Ingram and others were regularly covered.

During this time "Luke and B" began mixing in and trying out some of their own original songs. When the originals started getting requested more then the covers the group decided to take the "Experience" on the road. With a multitude of different influences they developed an exciting new sound to the Texas Country Music scene and the next goal could only be a full

length album.

Their debut album "Downtown" is a compilation of 11 original songs written individually or

together by the band. The album ranges from engrossing love songs like "Then Came You" to

high energy guitar and fiddle tunes like "Further Down the Road". The album is currently

available on their website or at any of their live shows. Songs from the album can be heard

currently on internet radio stations like www.radiofreetexas.org and can also be downloaded at www.ourtracks.com
